Weekend Confetti Vol. 15
April 17, 2021
Welcome to Weekend Confetti!
Here you will find your weekly dose of interesting and merry miscellany that you didn’t know you needed to know. I hope it adds some joy to your weekend! Enjoy!
Happy National Cheeseball Day! (No. I seriously do not make this stuff up.) Who doesn’t like a good cheeseball? And with options like Strawberry Cheesecake (cheese-ball?) and the ominous-sounding Jalapeno Peach Cheeseball of Darkness, who could resist? I mean, it’s CHEESE.
April 22nd is Earth Day. (Also, my sweet Mom’s birthday…Happy Birthday, Mom!)
Did you know the first Earth Day was in 1970 and was the precursor to the EPA, the Clean Air Act and the Endangered Species Act?
So how can we be more environmentally friendly?! It feels like a big job, doesn’t it? But small steps can add up to a large impact.
A few of my favorite easy-peasey ideas:
Clean up the air in your own home.
Learn how to recycle properly.
While you are planning where to go when it’s time to travel, you might want to grab one of these to help keep track of where you’ve been!
Could I please get some of these adorable Banana Saving hats, please? (I don’t even care if this actually works.)
Mother’s Day is on the way…it’s time to consider a great gift for Mom.
23 of the Best Gift Ideas for All Kinds of Moms (all from Etsy!)
She would love some Kind Notes.
For the BIG Wow…this gorgeous blooming floral handbag.
Lessons Learned from writing over 1000 Gratitude Lists. Sounds like something we should all hear.
Please sign me up for anything that involves ‘Dreamstorming’. How to Make a Learning Bucket List.
Mr. Perfect & I just finished watching this series. Loved it.
This week’s Kindness Inspiration: to write encouraging comments on the social accounts I follow. I know how much I appreciate positive remarks on my feed, I like the idea of doing that for others. Especially the accounts that bring me a lot of joy!
And here is some kindness I found out in the world to make you smile at the goodness of people.
And lastly, best kitteh dad ever.
What is a Kindness Inspiration?
It is a way of keeping kindness more intentional in my own life and hopefully inspiring you to do something kind in yours!
Happy Weekend, Joy Ambassadors!
