Weekend Confetti Vol. 9
March 6, 2021
Welcome to Weekend Confetti!
Here you will find your weekly dose of interesting and merry miscellany that you didn’t know you needed to know. Enjoy!
As many of you may have noticed, reading is one of my favorite hobbies. And March is National Reading Month! AND Women’s History Month!
It only makes sense to spend some time reading about women. Check out this reading challenge or these suggestions.
Tuesday was also Read Across America Day…here is a literary road trip.
If you want to fall in love with reading (or love it a little more), check out this week’s blog post.
I love this idea!
Now that you are ready to read, here are some great ways to store your books. (#15…I die.)
This Monday, March 8th, is also International Women’s Day. I have been doing some research on documentaries about women in history…I would like to watch this and this. Watch next week for some fun posts on the blog about interesting women you may not have heard of!
A quick look at some famous women you probably know. And some you’ve don’t.
Here is a great way to show your support of women. (I have been involved here for over a decade.)
This blew my mind. (I also got it wrong.)
I watched Brené Brown this week. (Love her.) If you haven’t seen this, stop everything and go watch it.
I started following @laurajaneillustrations and @theartfulelle on IG this week.
But my favorite find was Pineapple Island.
I love this idea of ‘catching joy‘. Don’t miss the five everyday practices you can start today.
As part of the weekly Kindness Intention, I thought I would give you a little kindness inspiration. (I especially loved #4 and the one about the goldfish.)
My Kindness Intention this week, in honor of Women’s History Month & International Women’s Day, is to write a letter to a woman I admire, thanking her for how she has inspired me. I may even get crazy and send it to someone I’ve never met. I’ll let you know.
Last but not least, I seriously have watched this so many times….I dare you not to dance.
Happy Weekend!!
