Weekend Confetti Vol. 2

Jan 16, 2021

Welcome to Weekend Confetti!

Here you will find your weekly dose of interesting and merry miscellany that you didn’t know you needed to know.   Enjoy!

January 16th is National Use Your Gift Card Day! Are you like me and have some gift cards lying around? You can use them, obviously, but did you know you can also sell them, trade them, or my personal suggestion, donate them. (Note that most groups deduct a small amount for administrative fees, and you should confirm that they are a non-profit.)

If you are wondering if I used lying correctly above, here is my reference. Yes, I looked it up. Yes, lie & lay have always confused me, too. Yes, I am a grammar nerd.

If the last few weeks have made you want to just push the stop button on 2021 and hit refresh, here are some ideas.

:if you are lying in bed at night worrying, try this.

:for some physical comfort, try one of these. (I love mine.)

:perhaps the concept of wintering will resonate with you. It did with me.  I know I’m adding this book to my TBR (To Be Read) list.

Speaking of books…Did you see my latest post about 5 books that can change your outlook on 2021?

And you might consider incorporating one (or all) of them in this amazing super-simple reading challenge by the author of one of my favorite books.

This amazing and unusual art is worth a peek.

In an effort to enjoy a better 2021, Mr. Perfect & I have agreed to try a few new things.  Like sitting down for this. And reading this together. And taking a Sunday drive to explore. Maybe one day we can drive one of these.

If this weekend seems like a good time to clean out your closet, here is some advice.

And once your closet is clean, here is some inspiration to help you make it more beautiful.

And last but not least, if you haven’t seen this timelapse yet, you are in for a treat.

Happy Weekend!!
